The ALC Dance Department is designed to produce a spiritual awareness to the body through dance, drama, and expression. Currently, the department includes Word in Motion Dance Company (WIM) and YD21 Dancers. WIM is our adult dance ministry, whose name sums up its purpose - to bring God's Word to motion.  YD21 gives teens ages 13-18 an opportunity to use their gifts and talents in dance for the Lord.  The ALC Dance Department is a branch of the Worship Department and ministers at select Sunday services, as well as special events during the year.

We generally hold a mass audition once a year.  Audition dates are announced via ALC News, Newsletter, and other promotional materials.  Based on the needs of the dance ministry, private auditions are sometimes held throughout the year. In addition to new dance company members, volunteer opportunities are available in the following areas: Special Events Dancers, Wardrobe, and Makeup.
